Commencing in 2003, J M Pearce Architects operates as a general practice, specialising in heritage and conservation projects.

Heritage and conservation projects include Conservation Management Plans, Character Assessment, Heritage Impact Reports and Condition Reports. The heritage services provide specific design advice in adapting heritage listed or character places and architectural material conservation. The heritage services also provide for Queensland Heritage Act compliance and master planning for heritage listed sites.

While new design in character areas and adaptive re-use of existing heritage listed buildings is a key area of concentration, an innovative approach to new design is encompassed and work including commercial offices, café and commercial fit out, information/education centres, multi-residential and housing projects contribute to our portfolio.
