David Hackwood Architect Pty Ltd

David Hackwood is a qualified and registered Brisbane architect with over 30 years experience in the profession. He is well respected amongst clients and colleagues, having worked in both the State Government and private practice.

From 1981-1990 David gained experience working with a Gold Coast based firm, and then within the State Government before starting his own practice in 1990.

He has a special interest in 'sustainability' - ensuring buildings are energy efficient and environmentally friendly - and 'Livable Housing Design' - designing homes to meet the changing needs of home occupants across their lifetime.
