Kelder Architects is a Brisbane based practice established in 2011.

Our practice is focused on the making of Architecture through a collaborative process that facilitates the research and development of ideas with-in a commercial framework. Projects are developed in a Studio environment where we generate careful and considered responses to our clients' needs and the environment.

Our services are based on a systematic and comprehensive process that is directed towards achieving enduring outcomes. We offer a complete range of architectural services, from design to construction, Interior Design services and Masterplanning services. The practice brings together a broad range of experience in bespoke residential design, multi-residential design, sports and community facility design, commercial design and institutional design.

Our approach pursues quietness and refinement in the buildings form, with an emphasis on finding richness in the spatial experience and material texture of the building. Through the composition of enclosure, we contend with the fundamentals of opening and closing buildings in considered ways. Our propositions will often contain courtyards, light courts and on a larger scale piazzas. We aim to make places that respond and connect with the city, the landscape and the climate.
