Coolgardie is an absolutely AMAZING place, and has an incredible history. My heart breaks however, because the town does a really job of showing what a special place it is. It is the crumbling remnants of what was once the third biggest town in WA, and the spearheaded the gold rush. The ghosts are real in this ghost town. Please look past the decay and decline to truly appreciate this open air museum.

OK My sister and I were on our way to the 125th Celebrations in Norseman where we were born some 50 plus years ago . As a child we traveled to Perth often first my rail, loved that trip on the train and we were both disappointed the railway station is not in a great shape. I though years ago it was a railway museum it would be great to see that happen. As we were just staying overnight we didn't explore much so I am not sure there is much to see. Its sad to see the condition of this town being run down..but for us it was still a trip down memory lane.
